ESXi 6.5配置LSI RAID卡驱动失败

已有的一台PC服务器，浪潮NF5280M3，两年前做了虚拟化，去年发生过一次硬盘故障换盘，近期又发生一次，每次换盘都要重启主机，Control-H进入WEB Bios进行RAID配置，很不方便，也无法在线监控磁盘状态，决心试一下LSI的MSM安装配置。

虽然配置失败了，但还是记录下吧。

■vmware版本
[root@inspurhbzx:/] vmware -vl

■已有raid信息
[root@inspurhbzx:/] esxcli storage core device list|grep -E "Drive|RAID"

查询得知，从ESXI 6开始不能再使用MegaCLI监控raid状态
对于LSI的阵列卡官方有远程监控工具 MSM(MegaRAID Storage Manager) 和 VMW-ESX-LSIProvider.

■安装raid驱动
#esxcli software vib install -v /tmp/vmware-esx-provider-lsiprovider.vib --no-sig-check

无效，还是无法看到硬盘的具体信息。

■再次从broadcom官网搜索最新的驱动版本，再装

■最终失败，无法在ESXi中配置LSI RAID卡驱动，导致无法识别硬盘。
网上有说，需要定制ESXi的安装镜像，置入LSI RAID驱动即可，只能有机会重做ESXi时再试了。
